4-6 Recommended Elementary Classroom Literacture Book Lists

Recommended Book List:

a- Books placed on the recommended book list have been reviewed by the Elementary Literature Selection Committee and deemed to be free of objectionable content and are appropriate for the proposed student population.
b - Teachers are not required to use books only from the recommended list, but they must have read the book prior to using it with students. Use of books not on the recommended list will be considered a site-based decision.
c - The committee cannot review all of the wonderful new books published each year.
d-  Informational Texts are usually appropriate for all age levels.
