ALPS Program in the Middle School

Midvale Middle offers the only secondary ALPS program in the district, which accounts for 47% of the student population. The program makes advanced classes available to gifted and talented students, allowing them to complete much of the tenth-grade curriculum before they leave middle school. Seven of Midvale’s teachers have state endorsements in Gifted and Talented education.
