Eight community workers, including a veterinarian, a librarian, a pizza maker, a utility worker, a mayor, a police officer, a firefighter, and a pediatrician are spotlighted on this site. Students can complete this exercise at this site.

      A slide show created by a 2nd grade class. Students used KidPix Studio Deluxe to illustrate the goods and services provided in their community and the importance of each one.

    • Edmark Imagination Express Series. Destination: Neighborhood. Students can write and create interactive stories and printed books using this program. Students add text, narration, images and music to create stories within the theme of Neighborhoods.
    • The Graph Club. Students create and print five different types of graphs with this easy-to-use program.
