You will want to look at Jordan School District's Science
Page, facilitating learning of math and science by helping teachers
use technology along with effectivelearning strategies.
UEN has
a wealth of matrials linked directly to Science Core Curriculum. Here
you will find USOE Approved Lesson Plans, MarcoPolo Lesson Plans, Educational
Links, and Videos. Log on to www.uen.org,

be to start at UEN
Curriculum Resources and the USOE
Science Home Page.
Science
NetLinks
Science NetLinks provides a wealth of resources of K-12 science educators.
To help educators integrate resources into a standards-based curriculum,
all content is organized around Benchmarks for Science Literacy. The
site features standards-based lesson plans, reviewed web resources,
benchmarks, and science updates. Science NetLinks is one of the MarcoPolo
partner web sites.
The
Particle Adventure
The Particle Adventure is an award-winning site which allows even the
most scientifically challenged to explore the world of particle physics
through interactive tours of quarks, neutrinos, antimatter, and other
intriguing particles.
Robert Krampf’s Experiment
of the Week
Scientist Robert Krampf shares his love of science with young people.
Join the
Experiment of the Web List and each week you will get a new experiment
that you can try yourself, experiments that are unusual, safge, dramatic,
cheap, and fun.
Enature
eNature is owned by the National Wildlife Federation and is a guide
to North American plants and animals. Some of its features include Field
Guides, Zip Guides, Experts, Backyard, Birding, Outdoors, and News.
Windows to the Universe
Sponsored by NASA and operated by the University Corporation for Atmospheric
Research, this user-friendly learning system covers absolutely everything
you could possibly want to know abut the earth and space sciences, with
a goal of makikng learning innovative and engaging. The site is written
on three reading levels approximating elementary, middle school, and
high school.
Bridge
This truly amazing web site has collected the best online resources
for marine science. Materials are organized into the following categories:
ocean science topics, resourceds, data port, and communications.
How Stuff Works
In language we can all understand, with clear diagrams to supplement
the text, this Web site does just what it says: explains both natural
phenomena and human inventions. Topics range from “How C Programming
Works, to “How Boolean Logic Works.”

The
Periodic Table
Understanding the Periodic Table of Elements is central to the study
of Chemistry Unfortunately for many students it is a dreaded portion
of Chemistry. In this project
students will utilize the resources of Internet, textbook, and expert
advice to research the periodic table and develop a power point presentation
designed to teach freshmen science students how to use the Table.
