USOE Science Core Curriculum
From this site, teachers have access to the Core Curriculum, Lesson Plans approved by state science specialists, and Internet Resources.

UEN has a wealth of matrials linked directly to 6th Grade Science Core Curriculum. Here you will find USOE Approved Lesson Plans, MarcoPolo Lesson Plans, Educational Links, and Videos. Log on to www.uen.org, and do a search for Science and 6th Grade.

A must-visit site is Science Netlinks, which provides a wealth of meaningful, standards-based Internet experiences for students as well as resources for K-12 science educators.

Have you looked at BrainPop? BrainPOP creates original animated movies to explain science concepts in a voice and visual style that is accessible, educational and entertaining for both children and adults.

Unit Tests and Tutorials - This collection of tests and tutorials were written by a Jordan School District teacher for the Utah Science Core. Students can go through vocabulary and concept tutorials as well as take quizzes for each standard in the core. Students are asked to register so results can be sent to the teacher.

6th Grade Science

While thousands of curriculum resources can be found on the Internet, teachers have little time to explore them and determine which ones are worth using.
