KidPix Slide Show

KidPix Slide Show allows you to display the artwork you have created in KidPix Draw, KidPix Moopies, and KidPix Stampimator. Each picture is added as a slide in your slide show. You can add sound effects to your pmultimedia presentation. Read below to find out more about KidPix Slide Shows.

  1. This is your slide preview area. It shows you a preview of the picture you have loaded in each van.
  2. The first step to creating a slide show is to select your picture. This button will allow you to navigate your computer's files and folders to find the picture you want.
  3. You can add prerecorded sound or your own recorded sound to your slide with this button. If you have typed text using the typewriter tool, the computer will automatically read the text. You can change that here as well.
  4. This button allows you to set the transition between slides. The transition is the effect you see when one slide changes into the next one.
  5. The "road" is your time slider. The slide will show for 3 seconds unless the sound is longer OR unless you change the time using the time slider. Click and drag it to set a longer or shorter time for each slide.
  6. Here you can see several different aspects of the slide show. Each van is numbered so you can see the order they will play. You can easily change the order by dragging a moving van to a new location. You can load up to 99 vans with pictures. You can easily identify the van you're working with because it will be a different color AND the dog will be in the driver's seat!

This is the Slide Show Control Panel. Use these controls to edit and play your slideshow.

A Note to Remember: If you loop your slide show, you must double click on it to stop it!
