Workshop for Administrators

A
w orkshops on Integrating Technology into the Curriculum (ITC) will
be offered in March 2005. The workshops will be taught by specialists
from Utah Education Network (UEN) and Utah State Office of Education
(USOE) with assistance from the District Technology Curriculum Specialists.
Principals
who have participated in previous ITC Workshops recommend this training
for the following reasons:
- As
Instructional Leaders and the requirements of No Child Left Behind,
this training will help principals with tools and techniques to help
their staff effectively integrate technology into their goals of:
- Reading/Language
Arts
- Academic
- School
Atmosphere
- Communication/Community
- They
had no idea of the wealth of Internet resources available to help
teacher teach Core Curriculum-MarcoPolo, UEN, Pioneer-and strategies
to appropriately integrate these resources.
- They
were reminded that technology is more than just a computer.
