A blog is a website where a person will write periodically about things of interest to him/her. A blog is generally created using web-based software that automatically creates rss feeds. Once a blog has been setup it is easy to maintain and update with new posts.

Another feature of blogs is that others can add comments to the articles posted to a blog. The author of a blog can choose how to manage the comments.

Blogs can and are about anything. Many people choose to use their blogs as a type of journal. Others use blogs to expouse their views on a range of topics.

It is important to remember that blogs by their very nature are biased accounts of information and should be treated as such. However, you can find blogs on just about any topic and can find many points of view on any particular topic.
