Initiating Activities

Define and explain metaphors to the entire class. Using guided practice, model a lesson metaphors.

Students will create two
metaphors from a list of
words generated by the teacher. (with help if needed)

group 2

Given a list of four words, students will create two metaphors per each word.

Students will write an origianl poem, using a minimum of four creative metaphors.
