Apple Learning Interchange
These lessons are very flexible in terms of methodology, and time dedicated to the lesson. They also have a wealth of web sites that provide numerous opportunities for further searching by students and activities that teachers can direct or assign.

Integrated Technology Projects at Essdack
Quick technology projects for students that include a challenge, tasks, resources, student projects and scoring rubrics.

INTEL
These math and science unit plans start with essential questions that engage students in their learning. Unit plans include PowerPoint presentations, online resources, and ideas for student projects and scoring rubrics. These units are developed by INTEL "Teach to the Future" participant teachers and you might even find one from a Jordan District teacher.

Kodak Lesson Plans
Some fascinating lesson plans for use in virtually all subject areas and grade levels that call for the use of digital cameras as part of the activity. This is a novel approach to using ideas that address the needs of visual learners. There are also lesson plans for higher education, and special education classes as will as the traditional classroom subjects.

Powerful search engines will take you to standards based Internet content for K-12 teachers for classroom use. Content areas included are Economics, Geography, Humanities, Mathematics, Science and The Arts.

Microsoft in Education

NETS for Students
National Educational Technology Standards for Students were developed to help teachers get students ready for a new world. Use this database to find curriculum integrated and multidisciplinary units and lesson plans to connect curriculum and technology.

PBS TeacherSource
Find companion website activities for PBS television programs such as Between the Lions, NOVA, American Family, and Trade Secrets to name just a few. Over 3,000 educational and informative lesson plans and activities are also at this site.

Schools of California On-Line Resources for Educators. Over 3,000 web resources supporting California academic standards. Searchable by grade level or topic. Lesson activities, projects, electronic field trips, discussion groups and more. Be sure and check the Cyberguides in the Language Arts section.

A commercial site that sells software, but also a site that contains excellent online resources. Particularly visit the Curtural Debates; Decisions, Decisions Online; Timeliner Challencge; Maps in the News; Great Teaching with Technology Newsletter; and Tips for Teachers.

WebQuest Page at SDSU
A matrix of webquest activities online. A WebQuest is an inquiry-oriented activity in which most or all of the information used by learners is drawn from the web. WebQuests are designed to use learners' time well, to focus on using information rather than looking for it, and to support learners' thinking at the levels of analysis, synthesis and evaluation.
