A total of 325 staff members representing the Bingham cone feeder schools completed the survey. A data analysis was prepared based on the returns. Results were varied among participating schools. The graphs below represent overall profiles of the participating schools within three domain areas.

LoTi Profile

This chart displays the Level of Technology Implementation (LoTi) ranking for all teachers who participated in the technology profile. Approximately 28% of the respondents fit the characteristics of Level 2 implementation of technology.

 

Level 2 Exploration Ð The electronic technology is employed either as extension to activities or as enrichment exercises to the instructional program. Technology-based tools serve as a supplement to existing instructional program (e.g., tutorials, educational games, simulations).

Personal Computer Use Profile

 

This chart represents the perceptions of respondents toward their personal computer use. Approximately 59% of the staff perceived their ability to use basic software applications or troubleshoot routine computer problems as "Somewhat True of Me Now."

Current Instructional Practices Profile

This chart displays the perceptions of participating teachers toward questions involving their current instructional practices. Approximately 63% of the respondents selected "Somewhat True of Me Now" about the use of a learner-based approach to instruction and assessment in the classroom.
