Technology Integration Activities/Strategies to Support CSIP

Teach keyboarding skills to support student literacy.

Using technology resources for writing is becoming essential in today's world. Writing centers can be set up with virtually any computer; Alphasmarts can be used for daily writing activities; and computer labs can be accessed for student writing projects. A student's ability to efficiently type text for class projects will greatly improve with teacher-directed keyboarding instructions.
